Objective of the  Fund

Aims to provide Medium to Long Term capital growth through investment globally or country focused.

Any material changes to the Sub-Fund’s objective would require Unit Holder’s approval.

Investment  Strategy

The Sub-Fund may invest up to 100% of its NAV in the permitted investments with flexible allocation in its assets to achieve an optimal return by freely changing risk degree according to current market conditions. Depending on the market conditions, the Sub-Fund may concentrate its investments on a single investment in order to achieve its investment objective or for risk management purposes.

The Sub-Fund may also invest in collective investment schemes and place deposits with financial institutions

Segregation Of Assets

This Sub-Fund shall segregate its assets in respect of each Class so that the performance, expenses, assets and liability of the respective Class of Units are not affected by the performance, expenses, assets and liability of other Class of Units. For avoidance of doubt, the assets of the Sub-Fund and Class of Units shall not be used to offset the liability or claims of other Sub-Fund or Class of Units.

Application/ Sales Of Units Restriction Application / sales of Units is subject to the prior written consent of all existing Unit Holders of the respective Class.
Launch Date 18 January 2018
Asset Allocation Invest in equities, equities-related securities, fixed income instrument and/or other alternative investment.
Distribution of Income and Reinvestment Policy

Incidental, subject to the availability of distributable income.

In the absence of any instructions, at the Manager’s discretion, the Manager may reinvest the income into additional units in the Sub-Fund at the end of the distribution day (ex-distribution price/NAV) without any entry fee.

Distribution of Capital The Manager may at its discretion distribute portion of the Sub-Fund’s NAV / capital without any exit fee.
Financial Year End 31 May
Launching of Sub-Fund or Class of Units The Manager may launch the Sub-Fund or Class of Unit at its sole discretion.
Additional Consideration

In the event where there is a major corporate exercise, including but not limited to material divestment,    appointment of Board of Directors, issuance of share/ securities, listing or delisting of securities or merger and acquisition exercise related to investment made by the Class of Units, the Manager may consult the respective Unit Holders.

 

Fee & Expenses

Annual Management Fee

1% per annum of the NAV of the Sub-Fund for all Classes.

Annual Trustee Fee

The Trustee is entitled to a trustee fee per fund/sub-fund at fixed trustee fee of USD 2,500 per annum for the first year.

For the subsequent year, the fees are as follow:

  • Fund size up to USD 10 million with a fixed fee of USD 3,000 per annum.
  • Fund size of more than USD 10 million at 0.03% of the NAV of the Sub-Fund subject to a maximum fee of USD 5,000 per annum.

Variation of the trustee fee may be agreed upon in writing between the Trustee and the Manager from time to time to vary the fee.

Custodian Fee

The indicated custodian fee currently by Malayan Banking Berhad is up to maximum of 0.03% per annum based on the market value of the portfolio.

Variation of the custodian fee may be agreed upon in writing between the custodian and the Manager from time to time to vary the fee.

Administration Fee

0.25% per annum of the NAV of the Fund for all Classes.

Registrar Fee

0.25% per annum of the NAV of the Fund for all Classes.

Any Other Fees Payable Indirectly By An Investor

These include but are not limited to:

  • Commissions or fees paid to brokers
  • Auditor’s fee;
  • Tax adviser’s fee;
  • Valuation fee;
  • Remuneration and out of pocket expenses of the members of the Investment Committee of the Fund;
  • Taxes and other duties charged on the Fund by the government and/or other authorities;
  • Cost related to tax vouchers;
  • Cost related to annual, quarterly reports and statements;
  • Data and software subscription fee for the management of fund and valuation;
  • Cost incurred for the modification of the Deed other than those for the benefit of the Manager and/or Trustee;
  • Cost, fees and expenses incurred for any meeting of the Unit Holders save where such meeting is convened for the benefit of the Manager and/or the Trustee;
  • (where the custodial function is delegated by the Trustee) charges and fees paid to sub-custodians taking into custody any foreign assets of the fund; and

Any other cost as agreed between the Manager and the Trustees other than those for the benefit of the Manager and Trustee.

Charges

This table describes the charges that you may incur when you buy or redeem Units of the Funds.

Entry Fee Maximum of 1% of the NAV of the respective Class of Unit.
Exit Fee Maximum of 1% of the NAV of the respective Class of Unit.
Transfer Fee Not Available, unless by operation of law, under the provision of the Deed, or transfer between immediate family (subject to the acceptance of the Manager).
Switching Fee Not Available

Transactions

Minimum Initial Investment USD500,000 or equivalent in other currency or such other limit at the Manager’s discretion.
Minimum Additional Investment USD100,000 or equivalent in other currency or such other limit at the Manager’s discretion.
Minimum Redemption USD100,000 or equivalent in other currency or such other amount as decided by the Manager. However, if the redemption request leaves you with less than 100,000 Units (minimum balance), all the Units in your account will be redeemed automatically.
Minimum Balance 100,000 Units or such other limit at the Manager’s discretion.
Redemption Restriction/Frequency

Please note that you can only redeem units once every 1st Business day of the week, subject to the availability of liquid assets in the Sub-Fund or Class of Units. You might not be able to redeem Units if the Sub-Fund or Class of Units is not able to dispose its assets and has insufficient cash.

Redemption Payment

The redemption payment will be made within 10 Business Days (T+10) upon receipt of the duly completed original redemption form, subject to availability of liquid assets in the Sub-Fund or Class of Units.

Cooling Off Right Not Available

In the event of any discrepancies, the Information Memorandum shall prevail.
